Default is King – breaking console and editor habits

My Half-Year's resolution:
Every day, delete one line from either my .vimrc or .zshrc files.

Today: undofile config, out!
" Preserve undo between sessions set undofile set undodir=~/.vim/undodir

  1. what is the motivation for removing productive customizations?

  2. Being able to be productive on any system, without the need for customizing it beforehand.
